Whether producing a business case, planning a development, introducing new business practice, implementing new software or exploring options, we are able to offer independent, professional advice. Beaumont Colson Ltd. has a track record of producing accessible, customer focussed documentation. We recognise that all organisations are in a state of flux to some degree and that a strategy must be adaptable. We are highly skilled at managing stakeholders' input to the consultation process.

All organisations process data and must use information in an effective manner, if they are to achieve success within their operational environments. Information is, without doubt, a critical resource. This concept underpins our approach to management consultancy. Our activities are supported by PRINCE2 qualifications and a wealth of academic and practical experience.

Beaumont Colson Ltd.'s involvement in management consultancy began with early work for the Northern Regional Health Authority in 1991. It included the production of sector reports concerned with IT issues from a user perspective including recommendations for improved support. The reports were based upon an inclusive, workshop approach. The combined reports contributed to the development of an Information Strategy at one of the most difficult times in NHS history for IT/IS management.

Since 2001 we have been involved with the NHS Cancer Screening Programmes in the replacement of the National Breast Screening System with a new application. A new client interface and the migration from M Technology to Caché was achieved on time and within budget. Our involvement included the initial options appraisal, assistance with the tendering process, project assurance and on-going implementation support. The successful conclusion of this high risk and complex project illustrates our ability to manage a wide range of different and dependant activities to tight deadline and budget.
